She's small enough to fit on the foredeck when we are on a long passage, otherwise she'll hang in the dinghy davits.
We'll be using her instead of the inflatable, which is going into retirement as an emergency dinghy. There's nothing wrong with the inflatable, but it's just not very much fun. You can't row it or sail it. If I knew then what I know now I would have never bought it... plus I only paid $800 for my new dinghy - and that darn inflatable cost $600. Yep, I'm learning the hard way :-)
I took her out for a little sail at lunch time today, and it was a little tricky. I have no experience sailing small boats. It's going to be fun to learn and I expect I'll get very wet before its over. I had to take down the sail and row back as I couldn't manage to make headway against the outgoing tide, but it was a lot of laughs... can't wait for Saturday I'm going to take her out all day....
